Organizational Identity Audit Using the 4P Method
If you want to check whether your organization has a strong enough identity foundation to safely enter a process of organizational and procedural changes resulting from a shift in direction, expansion of your service portfolio, or entry into new client segments – without the risk of chaos, loss of purpose, and dilution of direction – use my proprietary 4P diagnostic tool, used in "zero" audits.
The 4P audit allows you to assess whether a transformation will be conscious development or merely a superficial change. If the organization passes the 4P test and genuine coherence is visible – you can continue building. If not, we first strengthen the foundations before we start changing processes.
What does the 4P method involve?
The audit verifies organizational identity at four key levels:
- Purpose – reason for existence (mission)
- Principles – values and operating rules (the backbone of the organization)
- Picture of the Future – vision and direction of development
- Path – strategy, the road to get there
At each level, together with senior and top management and managerial staff, we answer questions that are:
- diagnosing the current state ("as is")
- verifying the real consistency of declarations with practice
- assessing organizational maturity
- identifying potential risks before transformation
How does the audit work?
The 4P audit is a process. Its duration depends on organizational and procedural complexity and the availability of the organization's employees.
